For Colored Girls: community forum

  • Theater West End 115 West 1st Street Sanford, FL, 32771 United States (map)

SUNDAY, JUNE 1
7:00pm–9:00 pm

You're invited…

This is more than a talkback. This is the beginning of real community healing.

Join the cast and creative team of “For Colored Girls who have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow is Enuf” for an open, honest, and necessary community forum as we kick off a series of gatherings centered on truth-telling, listening, and liberation.

This first forum is for those ready to come out from behind the keyboard and step into real conversation. No more hiding behind Facebook comments. No more performative support. No more silence when it matters most.

This is about listening to and uplifting Black women in ways that actually move us forward—as a community, as a society, and as human beings. This is about truth. About impact. About care. We invite you to come as you are—raw, real, ready to listen or speak.

Bring your questions, your heart, your discomfort, and your willingness to be part of something honest.

Let’s start here.
Let’s start now.
Let’s start together.
