Stand-Up Nights: Comedy Series

  • Theater West End 115 W 1st Street Sanford, FL, 32771 United States (map)

SATURDAY, APRIL 26 | 8pm. Just Added!

Ready for a night of giggles, guffaws, and belly laughs that’ll make you snort your drink? Look no further…

Theater West End is throwing open its doors for an epic laugh-fest that’ll have you rolling in the aisles! Imagine a place where the world’s worries can’t touch you, replaced by an avalanche of jokes from some hilariously talented folks you’ve never heard of (but will soon be stalking on social media), and a few comedy celebs you already know and love. Ever heard of Rauce Padgett? Of course, you have! He’s the local radio legend and comedy genius who’s handpicked a lineup of his comedy faves just to tickle your funny bone.

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill stand-up night. It’s a comedy party hosted by Theater West End, where the laughs are loud, the comedians are on fire, and the audience is in stitches from start to finish. Picture yourself sipping on your favorite drink, surrounded by friends (or soon-to-be friends), all of you laughing so hard that you forget about everything else.

AGES: Recommended for ages 16+. Adult language expected.

MEET YOUR HEADLINER

Will Marfori is a working stand up comedian in the United States of America.  Will is very proud that he is working, many of his fellow American’s are not, so he considers that something of a miracle.  Will has appeared on the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson and is a regular on Sirius/XM Satellite radio. Performing at comedy clubs, colleges, and cruise ships, Will tours almost 50 weeks a year all around the world.

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Will never felt like he fit in, until he walked on stage for the first time in 1999. He started doing comedy in Norfolk, Virginia while attending Old Dominion University.  He entered a stand up comedy contest for the student body and won.  He was hooked, Will finally found a vehicle for expressing his thoughts and feelings about his CP, family, and life.  Poking fun at his situation was empowering and it felt good to share his comedy with other people.  Will continued to finish his degree, for his Mom, but secretly knew he wanted to be a comedian.  Finally all his flaws became assets and his differences became strengths.
