Cabaret Series: To the Moon(s) and Back

  • Theater West End 115 West 1st Street Sanford, FL, 32771 United States (map)

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6 | 7 PM

STARRING: ANNELIESE, CLARISSA, AND ELINA MOON.

The Jackson 5… The Jonas Brothers… The Andrews Sisters… The Carpenters… Haim… are all family bands that are more famous than the Moon sisters.

Anneliese, Elina, and Clarissa Moon are actually sisters (we promise). While they may not look biologically related, their voices blend in that magical way only siblings’ can. All three of them grew up doing theatre together in Orlando, and have since branched out to forge their own paths in professional careers as actors, comedic improvisers, singers, and musicians.

The Moons have performed professionally in theme parks, regional theaters, and cruise ships all over the world. (Okay... only Elina has performed outside of the U.S., but Anneliese and Clarissa are happy to share the credit). Now, the sister trio will share the stage for the first time in more than five years (beyond portraying magical British schoolchildren) to showcase their various talents and tell stories about growing up in a family of performers! The Moons invite you to an evening of Broadway show tunes, stunning sister harmonies, violin playing, and laughter.

Anneliese Moon

Anneliese Moon is happy to be the first Moon sister to come alphabetically, so that you read her bio first. She is very proud to be taller than both of her sisters, which leads people to believe that she is also the oldest. Jokes aside, she is thrilled to share the stage with her sisters. Theatre West End audiences may remember Anneliese as Hua Mulan/ Pocahontas in Disenchanted or Ex-Girlfriend in Once. Other favortie credits include: Marcy Park in 25th Annual…Spelling Bee (Significant Productions), Blue Girl in Shout! The Mod Musical (Winter Park Playhouse), Kathryn in Cruel Intentions (Osceola Arts), and Shelby in The Spitfire Grill (Laguna Playhouse). Anneliese can be found performing full-time at Universal Orlando and seasonally at Walt Disney World. Many thanks to Tyler and her family, especially Elina for being a superior being.

Clarissa Moon

Clarissa Moon is thrilled to be back at Theater West End – now with both of her sisters! Clarissa shared the stage with Elina as a swing in Spelling Bee, where she appeared as Olive, Logainne, and Rona. Other favorite roles include: Trevor (The Play That Goes Wrong), #46 (The Wolves), Harriet (Emma), and Wendy (Peter Pan). She can be found performing in various roles at Universal Orlando and with the Longshoremen at SeaWorld Orlando. Clarissa would like to thank her family, especially Elina for being a superior being.

Elina Moon

Elina is so excited to share the stage with her sisters and return to Theater West End! Audiences may remember her as Olive Ostrovsky in Spelling Bee, and Anna in Spring Awakening. Elina spends the majority of her time touring the world with Princess Cruises as their Guest Soprano. Her travels have taken her from Alaska to Australia to Japan, where she spent two years working at USJ. When in town, she can be seen singing with the frog choir at Universal Orlando or diving for pearls at Seaworld Orlando. Elina would like to thank her family, especially Anneliese and Clarissa for acknowledging she is a superior being.
